Upon retirement, Ron turned his love of nature photography into a second career. This pursuit has taken him to Parks and Nature Preserves all over the world. He won first prize in several photo contests and has published photographs in several nature magazines. His work has been exhibited at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and in many art galleries in Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia. He has given presentations to several conservation organizations. Ron recently authored a photo illustrated text book, “A Year in the Woods: The Effect of Seasonal Change on Johnson Woods, an Ohio Old Growth Forest”. It was exhibited at the “2018 Buckeye Book Fair”.
